There are many different buzz words that explain this phenomenon: flexitarian, semi-vegetarian, and week day vegetarian; where you only eat meat on the week-ends. But anyway you want to say it, you are cutting back on the meat you eat. Some do it for health reasons, animal rights, the environment or all of the above!

Puff Pastry

So puff pastry is very intimidating with the "turns" and all the rolling out I guess I am not sure about that. I guess if I had a person showing me I would do better. Or should I say feel better about trying!! So when I found this I was so excited! a simple version of something intimidating

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, chilled and diced
1/4 cup cup sour cream
2-3 tablespoons cold water

Place flour in a medium bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is the size of small peas. Helpful hint grate the butter
Add sour cream. Add water slowly to not over water. While stirring with a fork until pastry forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and chill overnight.

put some flour on the counter before you roll out pastry, sprinkle floor on top of pastry to keep from sticking. Roll very thin about 1/8 inch.

Bake at 350.

didn't have time to refrigerate it over night? Stick it in the freezer for about 20 minutes then refrigerated it for about 15 minutes.
